Levi’s Plaza
1255 Battery St. Suite 100
San Francisco, CA 94111
Parking
There is paid street parking on Battery Street. The sidewalk is accessible via curb cuts. There are no disabled parking spots on Battery Street.
There is a water feature at the center of the plaza, and Karl is located on the ground floor in Suite 100 through double doors, directly behind the fountain.
Karl can also be accessed from Sansome Street, where there is paid street parking (2 disabled spots) as well as paid parking in the Levi’s Plaza Parking Garage. Enter the Levi’s Plaza via Sansome in between Huckleberry Bicycles and Starbucks. There are 5 steps. Those who require a ramp must go around the block and enter on Battery Street.
Public Transportation
Levi’s Plaza is about a 20 minute walk from Embarcadero BART Station.
You can also catch the F Train from the Embarcadero Station (or any point on Market Street). Wait on Market Street and catch the F Train going towards the Ferry Building. Get off at the Embarcadero Street and Greenwich Street stop. Cross Embarcadero Street towards the big green space - Levi’s Park. Walk through the park towards Battery Street, cross Battery Street, and you’ll be in Levi’s Plaza.
Restrooms
To access restrooms, please find a gallery representative or attendant who can escort you to access the restrooms immediately next door in the lobby of the Levi’s Plaza. There are two single stall gender neutral restrooms.
Interior Space
The space is 7,000 square feet, and has raw, unfinished floors. Please be mindful of uneven ground and watch your step. If you have issues with mobility or would like assistance in navigating the space, let a gallery representative at the entrance know and we will be happy to assist you. There are floor to ceiling windows and some fluorescent lighting. With weather fluctuations, lighting conditions may change and be lower on overcast days and at night.
The space is likely to be loud when it is full of people, due to lack of acoustic muffling. During the daytime it is unlikely to be crowded and noisy.
Refreshments
Food and drink is not available inside the space. Food trucks occupy the Plaza during lunch hours. There is an upscale Chicana restaurant XICA located in Levi’s Plaza. Affordable eating options can be difficult to find in Downtown San Francisco, so bringing water and food is advisable.
