Glass Rice was founded in 2016 by Cecilia Chia as a contemporary art gallery focused and committed to ushering a new wave of talented emerging artists in the Bay Area and beyond, as well as continuing to foster and bolster our relationships with artists over the years. Since its inception, our gallery strives to promote recognition rooted in artistic vitality and vision by cultivating a space to build genuine relationships with our artists, community and collectors.

We're highly interested in curating experiences for our audiences through installation driven shows aimed at enveloping most, if not all of your senses, and permeating your memories long after you've left.
